Pisew Falls Suspension Bridge

Thanks to the hard work of the Thompson Rotary Club and funding from the provincial governemnt, local businesses and the sale of walkway boards, the $240,000 was raised for the bridge construction.

The bridge is 120 feet long by 4 feet wide.

The genesis of the project was started by the Canadian Army Corp of Engineers. Another huge contribution to the site was the donation of manual labour from several Natural Resources fire crews on their free time.
On average, 20,000 people stop at Pisew Falls Provincial Heritage Park each year. Tourist numbers are sure to increase over the next few years.
